Other things that matter
Here I would like to clarify a few points which are important for my playthrough and might be confusing for some of my readers, especially those who are not familiar with the two mods I am using:
GCD introduces a slow but constant mana regen, which can be boosted by high willpower and high overall mana pool. With willpower at 100 and mana pool at 300, it takes about 15 minutes of real time to restore the entire pool.
Delayed Dark Brotherhood attacks
Morrowind Rebirth delays the DB attacks until some event in the main quest. I actually don't remember which event acts as the trigger - I will keep this as a surprise for myself.
Tougher enemies
Morrowind Rebirth introduces some new and tougher enemies. Some dungeons (like the one where you get Mentor's Ring) are bigger and much more challenging. There also a few completely new dungeons, quests and characters.
No more exploits with Fortify Attribute/Skill spells
These spells are removed from the spellmaking and enchanting menus by Morrowind Rebirth. No more stacking 2-second spells to fortify intelligence or presonality by 100. Only the spells available from merchants can be used, which have modest effects (+10) and reasonable durations (30 or 60 seconds).
Alchemy Nerfed
Rebirth also nerfs potions. I am not using alchemy, but I do use potions which I buy or loot, so this nerf also impacts my playthrough. Restore Health potions, for example, have their effect apply over a longer period and the overall magnitude is lower compared to vanilla. No more instant health resoration through potions to save you in any combat situations.
